Have a laugh on me

We're not all in the same boat, some of us struggle to even get in the boat!

Our cherubs enjoying Christmas for Wordless Wednesday

Finally a post with a Christmas theme – every night we see houses decorated, it’s the highlight of our children’s days.

Christmas is a magical time for children and I absolutely love watching their eyes and hearts light up at this time of year.

Author: Have A Laugh On Me

I'm a mum to three, write from home and I rarely cook, craft or clean but admire those who do. I try to live by the mantra that there's no point in worrying about something that might not happen! Be warned this is not a fluffy, sweet mummy blog, rather a place where you can cringe, laugh and be shocked at my brutally honest take on my life.

  1. Love Christmas lights as well! These photos are sooo cute! Plus they just helped distract and calm down my 3 year old who was having a tantrum over the one spoonful of his breakfast that he left and that I threw out. Thank you!!!

  2. Right that’s it. My kids refuse to go looking at Christmas lights (they are 18 & 16) so I am going to drag the hubster and we will go see them on a date, just the two of us. Why should we miss out just coz the kids aren’t keen?!

  3. So many pretty lights to look at! πŸ™‚

  4. Love Christmas time and especially a fan of the reindeer Mary costume!

    • Quite funny that, she got face painting at Kindy then came home and wanted to put my swimming sarong over her head – and it wasn’t until I saw photos afterwards I realise she was a mix between a virgin Mary and a reindeer – Reinmary – πŸ™‚

  5. the Christmas lights are so amazing! thanks for sharing this, and Merry Christmas to you and your family πŸ™‚

  6. We’re very lucky in that our neighbours have a great display of Christmas lights – means we can go out and see the lights every night without having to go far!

  7. Beautiful photo’s. I love the combination of Mother Mary and Rudolph the red nose reindeer! Mixing it up a little πŸ™‚

  8. Ahh! Christmas lights. I can’t wait til Dora is old enough to enjoy them more πŸ™‚ Great photos. It’s so hard to take photos of the lights.

    • Yes it’s hard to take photos alright, these were taken on my new iPhone, never had one before and just figuring out how to use properly. Yes your daughter will adore them, my 15 month old loves seeing them he gabbles away to himself and points at all the moving things excitedly! πŸ™‚

  9. Awesome lot of christmas photos. You got very interactive with the christmas lights, and the concert picture is so cute..

    • The owners of both houses have children and love kids exploring and enjoying their displays, the man said about 50 children a night get their photo taken on his sleigh, he seemed very chuffed with that. Xmas concert was just priceless πŸ™‚

  10. We haven’t visited Christmas lights yet. I’m running out of time. The girls will love it. Great photos. Rachel xx
