I LOVE the idea of flashing back in time to find out more about follow bloggers.
As a teenager I went to many school/uni balls and here’s the evidence.
I gotta say at the time I thought I looked shit hot in some of these dresses.
Although I do look like a hooker and a bride in two of these photos – please have a laugh on me!
This is probably my least cringe worthy photo – but I borrowed my sister’s dress which is probably way.
What a shocker – even the shocking red lippie, and I purposely didn’t show you the very high cut split at the front of this racy number.
Check out my rosy red cheeks, I was either really drunk or the velvet dress was slowly smothering me.
No I didn’t get married at 17, I just wanted to be different, I look about 80 years old hair with the hairdo and gloves!

My school friends and I often laugh at how we look like the cast of Bold and the Beautiful in our formal/ball photos. I do remember the old sweetheart neckline velvet dress look – I had one very similar. At least it looks like you always had a date!

I was a huge fan of the dark lippy as a teenager. I teamed it with geisha style white face make up. I was like a Twilight loving vampire fan way ahead of my time. Some would say I was an early trend setter. Most would say I was a fashion tragic geisha wannabe. Ahem.

I should dig up a picture of my Year 12 formal dress that my mum made for me – yes, it was as bad as it sounds so that’s possibly why I will not try too hard to find that particular photo! I’ve said it before, you have balls woman!
