Have a laugh on me

We turned heads at the shops with this Spiderman get up!

My son made a few people laugh at the shops with this Spiderman get up!

I think this is one of the few times No.3 has seen ducks - such is the life of a third child who often misses the things his older siblings got to do every week :(.

Time to eat the batter, I think we actually only got about 12 to 15 cupcakes, the rest was eaten by the kids - they were having fun so MEH!

Umm have I got something on my face?

Just had to share this with you - it's been on my fridge for about six years, my lil' sister got it from overseas - makes me smile EVERY TIME I see it!

Author: Have A Laugh On Me

I'm a mum to three, write from home and I rarely cook, craft or clean but admire those who do. I try to live by the mantra that there's no point in worrying about something that might not happen! Be warned this is not a fluffy, sweet mummy blog, rather a place where you can cringe, laugh and be shocked at my brutally honest take on my life.

  1. Just a test comment – man you’re awesome Emily 🙂

  2. Hi Em, love those glasses, where do I get me a pair? And you ARE awesome!

  3. Looks like you’ve had a pretty busy – but fun – day/week!?! I love the madness and mess that comes when baking with the kidlets. Great memories, right there. But my favourite shot is the selfie with your Little Lady. Super cute! 🙂

  4. Your kids are ridiculously cute, who cares if they make a mess! That sign is an absolute cracker!! xx

  5. YAY I CAN COMMENT AGAIN ALL IS RIGHT WITH THE WORLD! Right, where was I? Your kids are gorgeous, and I love the confidence of anyone who can rock a Spiderman outfit and novelty glasses, gives me hope for the future of mankind. That fridge sign is sheer brilliance, it made me laugh so hard – you know those times when you get the giggles and end up crying and snotty and not able to breathe and everyone around you thinks you’re having a stroke? It was a bit like that.

  6. A mess just shows how much fun you have had!! Love all these pics em!!

  7. bahahah love your test comment ;p it’s working for me too 🙂

  8. That’s quite the baking effort! I think I have a headache just looking at them all going for their lives! Also, that fridge magnet is hilarious, have you seen this meme? I hope the link works.

Its a hockey player trying to drink out of a bottle from the wrong end and it says “I can count to potato.” So funny, you have to see his facial expression, gold.

  9. This made me smile. That last photo is hilarious and puzzling!

  10. what a great pic of the cooking fun you had 🙂
Love the idea of cooking with kids helping!!!

  11. I love the way Spidey rocks his glasses! What messy fun cake making is with kids. Looks like they had a ball.

  12. Mr Surfer peered over my shoulder when I opened your link and loved the superman, green glasses get up! Man, I would love to follow you and your munchkins for a day. No. Wait. For an hour 🙂

  13. I love those glasses and to be honest if most adults could get away with wearing a superhero suit all day they totally would – maybe this is where the onesie craze has come from?

  14. The first pic totally cracked me up! And you are so brave, baking WITH the kids …

  15. Sorry to break it to you, but your girl has DEFINITELY mastered Duck Face. Yours is more like Blue Steel. Kx

  16. Emily – you have a great sense of humour! Love the pics!

  17. Glad to see you have a cake making benchwarmer too, I’ve been trying to get Izzy to stay on the stool lately. I always wonder what the heck I was thinking after making cupcakes/biscuits. Mess city. I am sure spiderman made the day of many shoppers 🙂

  18. Oh the glasses set off the super hero outfit perfectly. Thanks for the smiles.
